We are delighted to launch the first version of our GO-GN Code of Conduct, which supports and contributes to our aim that all GO-GN members and participants at our online and face-to-face activities and events feel respected and supported.
During the second half of 2024, we began development of a GO-GN Code of Conduct for events and online activities. The GO-GN Code of Conduct is based on a review of a number of existing codes for open education events and initiatives. We shared a draft of the code for feedback with participants at our GO-GN workshop prior to the OE Global 2024 conference in November 2024. A subsequent iteration was shared with the wider GO-GN membership for feedback in January 2025. The draft code was then further revised. We are very grateful to everyone who contributed their feedback, ideas and suggestions.
We are committed to reviewing our Code of Conduct at least annually. In the meantime, if you have any feedback or questions, please get in touch.
