We are delighted to announce that the network has been awarded additional funding from The William and Flora Hewlett Foundation to support our exploration of regional ‘hubs’ to expand the network. We will be piloting several hubs in the second half of 2025, and our evaluation of these activities will inform our future planning. This work aims to build capacity and better support our diverse and growing membership. This pilot is also a direct response to members’ request for greater federation (see our Strategic Review) and contributes to GO-GN’s ongoing commitment and work on equity, diversity and inclusion (EDI) in open education.
The call for proposals opened on Thursday 24 April 2025 and closes at 12.00 noon BST (UTC +1) on Friday 30 May 2025.
Update (24 April 2025 at 16:04BST): Please note that, due to 1 May National Holidays, we have rearranged our drop-in sessions from 1 May 2025 to 8 May 2025. The Call for Proposals document has subsequently been updated to reflect this date change.
