GO-GN Mini Seminars: Autumn Edition

Following on from September’s webinar on our research review (missed the session? Catch up here), we are delighted to announce details of our next two GO-GN online events this autumn. First up, is our October mini-seminar where we’ll be welcoming our first round of GO-GN Fellows. Back in July we launched our first call for Fellowships, aimed at alumni and completing PhD/EdD members. Join us on Wednesday 14 October to meet our fellows and find out more about what they’ll be working on… PLUS we also have an exciting special guest speaker!

Mini-seminar II (14 October 2020)

Meet the Fellows! 12.00-13.30 BST

Special Guest Speaker 14.00-15.00 BST

More details to follow. In the meantime, please mark the date and join us via ClickMeeting: https://gognoer.clickmeeting.com/go-gn-mini-seminar-ii-october-2020-meet-the-fellows-

Following October’s mini-seminar, we’ll be virtually participating in Open Education Global #OEGlobal20. Taking place 16-20 November, we’re excited to be joining colleagues and friends from around the world for the conference. If you’re a GO-GN researcher and you haven’t already claimed your free place for the conference – email us for the code!

Although we’re unable to meet face-to-face and bring together a group of GO-GN’ers for our usual workshop, we’re starting to plan our online mini-seminar as well as some more informal activities, in the run up to and during the conference. We’ll be confirming the date of our mini-seminar shortly but part of this, as per our face-to-face event, will comprise of the opportunity for members to present to fellow GO-GN’ers. Our aim is to offer a friendly and supportive space for you to discuss your work. Started your PhD and want feedback on your research ideas and approach? Presenting at the conference and want to test some ideas? Please email us to get involved. And keep your eyes peeled for more on both our October and November activities in future blog posts!
