Join us on Wednesday 16 April 2025 at 16.00-17.00BST (UTC+1) for a special session to help you reflect on your doctoral studies and develop support strategies. We’re delighted to welcome Dr. Jon Rainford (OUUK) to talk to us on Part-time doctorates: building your strategy for success:
All doctorates are challenging but the challenges faced by those juggling work, research and often complex lives are often more pronounced. For the part-time doctoral researcher, the journey is often longer and presents more barriers to navigate. This session will help participants to reflect upon the competing demands they face and offer suggestions of how to navigate these successfully. Drawing upon ideas from Thriving in part-time doctoral study this session will explore issues of competing identities, understanding your why and building a support village.
All welcome!
